Ralph's doing an as-good-as-if-not-better-than Alfred Molina in *Boogie Nights,* Tilda is incredible, Dakota is understated, and the other guy is a perfectly acceptable James Franco stand-in.
Perhaps a better title than *A Bigger Splash* would've been *Careless Whisper*.

Two hours and 45 minutes flew by like nothing, every set piece is a spectacle of epic proportions, and I practically smiled the whole time, but Gabriel is not a good villain and the story is pretty dumb ([Mrs. Davis](https://imdb.com/title/tt14759574/) does it better), but then also Kittridge is back(!), so 4.5 stars.
