After a stretch of 11 years since their last studio recording, The Jayhawks have come together for the new album, Mockingbird Time. The album contains 12 tracks and will be released on September 20 on Rounder Records. The album will include all former bands members with songs written by band leaders Mark Olson and Gary Louris. Louris will also serve as the album’s producer.Mockingbird Time was recorded at The Terrarium Recording Studios in Minneapolis over a month in the winter of 2010. When asked about their return to the studio, Lauris reflected, “The difference from then and now is that Mark and I have both experienced different kinds of music and expanded our palates.

London-based alt-rock quartet The Boxer Rebellion have announced that they will release their third studio album, THE COLD STILL, on Fe bruary 8, 2011 in North American (Febr 7 in Europe). 几十年来,每一个我接的案子,总是开始于我对这个艺人最直接的感受.
不过,如果要整理归纳我对杨宗纬的感觉,以下原因排名不分先后,通通一样重要且互相影响关连着.
一:声音
他的声音能不能给我想像?能不能勾引我讲故事?能不能创造新的语境?有没有辨识度?我的经验是,声音;语气;咬字基本上决定一个歌手的特色.这是一个歌手的最基本!!!!这个没有,歌手不可能成功.
二:他需不需要我?
以杨的案子来说我认为他正处在一个非常需要一个好的制作企划的阶段,或者直率的说;他很需要我.特别是他当时的情况.
三:他能不能唱?
李宗盛的歌不容易唱,众所周知.李宗盛的作品通常有太强,太浓的李式风格....要有很好很好的,很聪明的歌者....才能好好利用李宗盛的作品,通过自己的心领神会进而塑造,转换成自己的风格.让自己变成最大的受益者.
四:有没有可塑性?
可塑性,我的定义是够不够虚心.这一点其实显现的是歌手的慧根与质地.可塑性就是可能性......再多的努力与创意都需要制作人跟歌手真心接纳彼此然后无悔的去完成.
杨宗纬,在我上述几点陈述中都有很好的分数.
