It’s been almost a year since BT announced his ambitious Kickstarter-funded “Electronic Opus” project with renowned video game composer Tommy Tallarico, a campaign to combine his classic dance tracks with orchestral arrangements for a groundbreaking musical experience. It was journey no one expected, one that saw 2,177 fans scramble to raise over $250,000 to bring Electronic Opus to life and BT record his greatest hits alongside a full symphony in Prague, all culminating into a knockout, live performance during Miami Music Week in March 2015.
Now the wait for the final product ends on October 12, when the anticipated “Electronic Opus” album releases to the public. 14 beloved BT tracks have been reworked and reimagined into a fantastical exploration of classical arrangements, electronic dance frequencies, and experimental sound editing techniques. Thanks to the dedication and creativity of the production team at TanZ, conductor Eímear Noone, Milk & Honey, Tommy Tallarico, and BT, “Electronic Opus” signifies a shift in the way dance music and EDM will be perceived from here on out.

Ahead of the celebration of their 100th show of Group Therapy at New York City's Madison Square Garden this Saturday, electronic music trio Above & Beyond have made a big announcement via social media: they're releasing an artist album. Entitled We Are All We Need, it's due out January 20th of 2015 via Anjunabeats/Ultra Records. Aside from the release of Acoustic in early 2014, this will be the first full artist album from the guys since Group Therapy in 2011. Though we only know two tracks from the album so far - "Sticky Fingers" and "Blue Sky Action" both featuring Alex Vargas - We Are All We Need promises 16 tracks of goodness. Super8 and Tab are set to release their second album next month.
Unified will released on October 27 via Anjunabeats and we have the first taste in their single, "Let Go". The track is a high-octane melodic track with a pulsating groove and driving rhythm fit for a the thrills of nighttime drive down the side of a hill on some winding roads through an arctic region - or something like that.
