- 이루리 [Let Me Dive Into This Moment]
베이스를 연주하는 싱어송라이터, 섬세함과 리드미컬함을 동시에 지닌 음악가 이루리가 솔로로서 자신의 두 번째 EP인 [Let Me Dive Into This Moment]를 선보인다. 이루리는 2011년 바이바이배드맨의 베이시스트로 데뷔하여 서울문, 이성경X이루리 프로젝트까지 다각도로 활동 중이다. 동시에 2018년 자신의 첫 작품이자 EP인 [Rise From The Ashes]를 공개하여 음악팬들로부터 좋은 반응을 얻었고, 이후 꾸준히라는 단어로는 부족할 정도로 열심히 싱글을 발표해왔다. 단순히 다작이라고만 생각할 수 있지만, 한 곡 한 곡이 저마다 그 분위기가 다를뿐더러 모든 곡의 퀄리티를 확실하게 챙겨두었다. 오히려 이루리라는 음악가에 관하여 더 가까이 알아갈 수 있는 좋은 시간이었다.
그런 그가 2년여 만에 두 번째 EP를 선보인다. 살아가면서 누구나 한 번쯤 영원했으면 좋겠다고 생각하는, 그런 순간을 모아 담은 이번 앨범에는 기존에 공개한 “Dive”를 포함해 총 다섯 곡이 수록되어 있다. 대부분의 곡을 직접 쓰는 그가 이번에는 처음으로 작사를 받았고, 덕분에 이번 EP를 통해 지금까지 해왔던 이야기와는 또 다른 느낌을 만날 수 있게 되었다. ‘그 순간에서 영원히 살고 싶다'는 내용이 담긴 이번 앨범에는 각 다섯 곡 모두 특정한 상황과 시간에서 오는 공기를 고스란히 전달한다. 덕분에 곡을 들으면 사랑하는 사람과 함께 한 그곳의 온도부터 지는 노을을 바라보던 그 시간까지, 그리고 다시 오지 않을 젊음의 한가운데 서 있는 자신의 모습부터 사랑하는 사람들과의 추억까지 눈앞에 풍경이 절로 그려질 것이다.
“Ashby Road” 안에 담겨 있는 가사이기도 한 이번 EP 제목 [Let Me Dive Into This Moment]는 앨범 전체를 명확하게 설명하는 한 문장이기도 하다. 사랑, 관계에 관한 이야기이기도 하지만 우리가 살아가면서 한 번쯤은 경험하는 소중한 순간, 그 시점을 떠올릴 수 있는 이번 앨범은 CD로도 만날 수 있다.

Emotions is the second studio album by American singer-songwriter Mariah Carey. It was released on September 17, 1991 by Columbia Records. The album deviated from the formula of Carey's 1990 self-titled debut album, as she had more creative control over the material she produced and recorded.
