前作、「9 Songs」より２年ぶり、KASHIWA Daisuke７枚目のフルアルバムになります。
絵本作家・イラストレーター・映像作家である、たむらしげる氏の著書「水晶山脈」にインスパイアされた、流麗なメロディと壮大でノスタルジックな世界観、天然鉱物に魅せられた透明感あふれる美しい作品郡で、9年前にリリースされ世界中で圧倒的な評価を受け、今なお聴き継がれている「program music I」の続編となる、新たなる音の物語です。
今作は、生楽器、生演奏、生録音にこだわり、より躍動感と空気感をダイレクトに伝える作品となっており、「program music I」では非常に特徴的であったデジタルエディットは排除されています。
ドラムにJimanica、ダブルベースにHiroki Chiba、ピアノにYuki MurataとKanae Okamura、チェロにTaizan Aotsuki、ヴァイオリンにMaiko Isobe、コーラスにpiana、と個性とセンス溢れる一流の演奏家達を迎え、各々の持ち味を十二分に引き出し、打ち込みでは決して得る事のできない生き生きとした表現を獲得しました。また、全ての楽曲に、KASHIWA Daisuke自身でミックスとマスタリングを施し、繊細かつダイナミック、細部まで決して妥協の無い圧倒的な世界観を獲得しています。

A the beginning of 2015 my friend Milo heard some of these songs and told me about the film. I watched it and was dumbfounded. I felt the aesthetic made complete sense with the strange themes I had been obsessed with over the past couple of years. I was curious to see what my songs sounded like when synced with the images, which turned into a 2-day bender where I soundtracked the entire film, creating a weird collage of the ambient music I had made over the last 2 years.
The film gave me a structure to follow and themes to stick to. It gave clarity to this music that was made mostly out of and through chaos. It also gave me the balls to put it out… I wanted to do some screenings but the guy who owns the rights to the film only wants the original version of the movie out there. I can’t blame him, I’m sure Paradjanov wouldn’t want some kid in NY pissing all over his masterpiece and calling it a soundtrack! I’ve listened to it a couple of times without watching the movie and I think it stands on its own. Or at least I hope it can!

The sound of July Skies is about lost youth, fractured memories of the 1970’s, pylons across fields, abandoned airfields, endless childhood summers, dappled sunlight through leaves, forgotten England, the romance of the heavens well after closing time, countryside, mornings in May, ruins, faded innocence...
The Weather Clock has been in development for years, originally slated for release on Make Mine Music at least as far back as the fall of 2006, only to get pushed back time and again. But now it’s finally here, and it’s really more of the same from Harding and his collaborators (which includes members of Epic45).The beauty of the recently constructed regimented housing estates, fresh from the municipal architects drawing board.the green of front lawns against the blue of the summer sky.....it is the sound of the empty school hall once the summer holidays had commenced.... children playing on distant grassy hills far from the edge of the estate....faded branch line summers where steam met diesel.....the sound of swallows across the fields on a fresh dew drenched May morning.....the nothingness of days and afternoons….the innocence and lightness of a breeze through an open window, striking pastel patterns on curtains which billow….the sound of BBC closing down broadcasts during the daytime and displaying the TV test card for the afternoon, whilst the country continued to work, play or learn....this is the sound of The Weather Clock.

Faitiche is delighted to present a long-lost vinyl album: for the last 14 years, Jan Jelinek's Loop-Finding-Jazz-Records, originally released in 2001 on ~scape, existed only as a download. Now the album is available again on vinyl, as a double LP with two bonus tracks (B-sides from the Tendency EP, 2000).

风格以Techno、Ambient为主，收录了九首SHAO在2012年到2017年间的作品，整张唱片以表现“光”这一抽象概念为核心。在被问及创作灵感时SHAO这样说道：“我工作室里摆着两本画册，一本叫COSMOS, 里面全是宇宙星系的高清图片，也有各种星球的细节，还有一本叫EARTH, 里面有很多我们地球上一些平时很难看到的地方的照片，有宏观角度的也有局部的，山脉，河道，沙漠，岩浆，一些奇怪的湖，等等。首先我觉得特别美，没事就拿着翻一会儿，每次看都感觉特别的震撼，也可能是因为画幅很大而且印刷的质量很好，还有摆着一个安藤忠雄的那个光之教堂的照片，这些东西就在我的脑子里，我喜欢这些东西带给我的感觉。”SHAO用他的丰富得想象力和创造力用他最擅长的音乐表现出了他脑中对于自然环境氛围的理解。用抽象的声音排列出了对“光”的想象。并在在舞曲和氛围音乐之间找到了只属于他自己的平衡。用富有强烈东方色彩内敛而深层的思维方式，和西方科技音乐的表现手法。完美地呈现了这张全新概念专辑。

Singularity marks the fifth album from the UK electronic producer and composer and the follow up to 2013’s Mercury Prize nominated Immunity.
Where Immunity charted the dark alternative reality of an epic night out, Singularity explores the dissonance between dystopian urbanity and the green forest. It is a journey that returns to where it began – from the opening note of foreboding to the final sound of acceptance. Shaped by his experiences with meditation and trance states, the album flows seamlessly from rugged techno to transcendent choral music, from solo acoustic piano to psychedelic ambient.

Five years after his critically acclaimed debut Drone Logic, London-based producer Daniel Avery has announced the release of his highly anticipated second album Song For Alpha, set for release on 6th April 2018
In the years since his debut, Avery has helmed a DJ-Kicks mix CD, resided over a monthly radio show for NTS Live, curated an extensive remix compilation and collaborated on a series of side-projects including a recent release with Nine Inch Nails synth specialist Alessandro Cortini; he has toured relentlessly, cementing a reputation as one of the defining techno DJs of the decade. He has also worked studiously on what he wanted to say next as a producer.
Song For Alpha is Avery’s exploration of the space in which home listening and club music intersect, in no small part inspired by his transient life spent between nightclubs, flights, the passenger seats of cars and hotel rooms. He confirms, “Drone Logic’s spiritual home was the dancefloor. This record’s is definitely the road. Those late nights and hazy mornings, finding inspiration beyond the fog.”
With newfound energy and time to develop, Avery’s sonic vocabulary has expanded. Here, the booming sound of the big room is brilliantly countered by the music of the small hours. Where celestial ambient lullabies ‘First Light’ and ‘Days From Now’ sit perfectly next to the mesmeric techno assault of ‘Diminuendo’ and ‘Sensation’; where both ‘Projector’ and ‘Clear’ evoke early rave records, only ones engulfed by waves of beautiful cyclonic distortion. Much like his recent excursions with Cortini, Song For Alpha sees Avery take his signature psychedelic-electronic sound to new dimensions, a sound that plays to the head as much as the body.
“I’ve become increasingly interested in those moments in a club when the outside world becomes little more than an inconsequential thought at the back of your head. Eyes closed as opposed to hands in the air. A light emerging from the darkness - this is the idea I repeatedly returned to in the studio. The more time you spend with it the deeper you fall. Close your eyes, press repeat.”

「Save Her, from Dreams」由真实事件改编。讲述的是一对新婚不久的夫妻，每晚入睡后妻子都会经常发噩梦，反应剧烈，身体有不同程度的抽搐，偶尔还会大叫，这种状况让丈夫担心不已。直到有一天，丈夫发现可以进入妻子的梦中，以妻子的身份去经历那些梦，他才明白原来这些噩梦的根源是由妻子过去的种种经历所造成的。于是他决定在梦中拯救妻子，即使付出不可挽回的代价……
