Robin Miriam Carlsson, known as Robyn, is a Swedish singer, songwriter, record producer and DJ. She arrived on the music scene with her 1995 debut album, Robyn Is Here, which produced two US Billboard Hot 100 top-10 singles: "Do You Know" and "Show Me Love".

这是一张具有国际水准意义的专辑了，延续了精品民族音乐的基调，开始与Techno进行结合，取得了惊人的效果。这张专辑选取了《天地与爱与人》中了部分老作品作了全新的混音制作，呈现完全不同的风情。而新作品仍是以何静本人的作曲为主，保持了原来的新民族精神。幕后班底除了原班人马之外还加入了香港、新加坡等地的创作人员，恰到好处了为专辑注入了新的元素，充满了刺激的新鲜声音而不过火。造型打造上更是大大突破了上张专辑，何静不但面容显得美丽而高贵，更展示了被人忽视的曼妙身材和酷而神秘的气质和神韵。平面设计结合了东方气韵和国际化的质感。但是这张专辑同样存在一些问题：母碟处理上，部分歌曲收尾声音不干净，没有完全fade out就断轨了；宣传力度依然欠佳，虽然引起了一些国际乐评的注意，但是总的来说知名度不够；歌词部分的平面设计仍然存在字体和颜色搭配不好的问题，甚至有一些文字错误和涂改；包装文字没有正确反应专辑内容，比如混音版的老歌没有得到说明，使很多人以为是热剩菜骗钱，加上大多歌曲名字听上去乡土气息太重，使很多人失去购买动力，从而错过这张好专辑。
01．一起飞 这首歌的开头部分足以紧紧地吸引一双无辜单纯的耳朵了，很多挑剔的老耳朵也会经不住诱惑，一分半钟的前奏丝毫不显得冗长。这样一首歌来开头已经让人忍不住急着期待后面的歌曲了。人声处理上又有了新的突破，何静的人声已经被当作乐器来运用，充满了趣味。一样精致的主旋律配上大气的副歌，这让的歌曲格式竟是让人如此百听不厌！？节拍上，何静还是有一些有特色的小花样，比如那一句“阳光、清晨、黄昏”。
02．咖啡和眼泪 这个名字也许会让人觉得有一点土洋土洋的，但是等到听了完整的歌词才觉得世上竟有如此悲惨的句子。而何静这时仍然使用了一种很个人化的唱腔，并且大大有别于她的民族唱腔，但却同样具有标志性，具有独特的感染力。简单的一段式作曲并没有使这首歌打折扣。只是没能明白Guitar Mix是怎么回事。
03．日出东方 这首歌的名字大概让好多人对它作了错误的预期。如此精彩的一首歌差点被当成一首农村小调。何静本人的作曲为什么就是如此的令人愉悦呢？而郁冬的词又从来都是如此完美的为其赋予意义！重迭式的“对唱+轮唱”，在两种不同的唱腔和人声效果下显得别有情趣。副歌部分很豪放，唱出来效果很好，但是开头的合成器演奏却显得相形拙劣，是一点小小的缺憾。
04．自由鸟 郁冬的歌名就是这么纯朴，哈哈。这是一首比较都市风格的作品，配器也比较Band Sound,何静也用了比较都市的风格来唱主音部分，但是当“鲜花绿草才能填满我的心”一出来的时候却让人感到倍加的亲切！一人分饰两角的唱法和机场的采样在当时来说都还算是比较新鲜的东西。唯一的不足是“吧哪吧哪”的背景合音不太搭调，有点降档次了。
05．十二的(Remix) 这个版本用了仿Unplugged的手法和乐器来重新编排，基调与原曲出入不大，低音贝斯显然是爵士乐队的配置，而人声则加重了延音混音。
06．旷野精灵 这个版本只是Remastered,并没有重新编曲，但是可以明显听出，高一级的master的技术对音质的提升有多么大的帮助，声场、力度、细节都得到了明显的扩展、深化和细化。
07．体会 这首歌的英文名首先就体现出来这张专辑工作人员的先驱性——2 B(To Be?)。当时的数字英语在国内还是很陌生的东西。这首歌也许又是一种采风的创作成果，很浓的民族气息，但是却不是那种众人皆知的民风，只是听得出那种味道。人声在这首歌中被充分的运用，无论是女声男声童声的演唱还是对其的混音声效，雨伞更把自己的声音也当作乐器。气氛浓重而华丽。
08．无声草原(Remix) 也许现在在久经沙场的人看来这样的编曲只能算作也没什么，但是考虑到时间因素，这样的编曲只能用另类之至前卫之极来形容，简直是精彩绝伦的听觉轰炸，畅快淋漓！竟然用一个和弦走到底的程式化Techno作底也能跟民族音乐结合得如此美妙！而两年后女子十二乐坊的十面埋伏（感谢年华组曲之一）不过也就是这种idea。这种调调倒是很和我的胃口！“襟~~~~~~~~”可怜谷峰的和声被砍掉了，但何静的女声仍然能撑起同样的气势。
09．镜花缘(Remix) 这首混音用了不完全和谐的和弦配置，拍子上接近某种Big Band Jazz,东方古代传奇被演绎成了西方味道的现代神话。
10．走啦(Remix) 其实开场那个很过瘾的神经质的民族味道的低音鼓点原版里面也有用，只是没有这么放肆的直接在你的两个耳朵窜来窜去。总的来说这个版本的改动不算大，只是把各种乐器和人声做得更有质感，特别是鼓的部分。开头和结尾的变动比较明显。
11．滑翔风筝 这首歌旋律部分让人觉得有温金龙的味道。这大概是何静唯一的一首纯念白概念音乐作品。没有想到恣意的她深沉起来是如此夺人心魄，寥寥二十多个字，意蕴无限。背景吟唱美极了~~~~这首歌为专辑束尾真有绕梁的效果了！要是外国唱片说不定就是hidden track的种。实在是超前。
整张唱片完美的结合了民族音乐和电子音乐，可以说是新民乐的成功先驱典范。唱片营造的气氛比《天地与爱与人》更加浓重有质感，但是在内容上又是其姐妹篇，一个是天国于人间的仙境，一个却是超时空的幻境。唱片还首开大陆精品混音的先河，但是似乎还没有其他哪张内地唱片能做到像《Beijing Calling》这样把老歌做得胜似新歌的程度。音乐水准上来讲可以说是拿得出国际台面的高水准之作，可以说很多欧美大牌的唱片也没有这么淋漓畅快，更很少有人能连续推出两张Non-skip级别的大碟，更没有人连续推出两张有相同曲目却同样让人动容的大碟。在音乐类型上更为后来很多人开拓了道路，可惜的是何静却没有守住自己的这片江山，将其搁下，转而开始了别的方面的尝试。也许是这种类型的音乐灵感已经到了尽头，再做下去就会在千篇一律中和其它音乐类型一样慢慢失去光彩？还是因为她这一步走得太早，在当时没有得到大众的认可，而感到灰心，转而做所谓大众想听的东西？我们不得而知。

SHAN SHUI, the 1st album from the China-based indie musician, Night Swimmer, contains 12 tracks depicting the imagenary landscapes in h is mind.
These tracks combine Synthwave, Vapourwave, Darkwave and even world music, sparkled with some retro synth sounds that have been inspired by 80's synthpop.
Though all soundscapes are aimed more at describing things than expressing emotions, the theme of self-enmancipation and reception of the sophisticated world in our real life would, at last, surfaces when all tracks culminate at the end of the album. However, listeners could also find their own understandings of the music.

We’ve heard two tracks from Sun, Cat Power’s forthcoming album, and both “Ruin” and “Cherokee” embrace pieces of pop music that we might have never expected to cross Chan Marshall’s radar: textured synths, polished programmed beats, Auto-Tune. On his remix of “Cherokee,” the young ambient-electronic auteur Nicolas Jaar pushes those elements further, bringing Marshall into a dazed synthetic wonderland. A the beginning of 2015 my friend Milo heard some of these songs and told me about the film. I watched it and was dumbfounded. I felt the aesthetic made complete sense with the strange themes I had been obsessed with over the past couple of years. I was curious to see what my songs sounded like when synced with the images, which turned into a 2-day bender where I soundtracked the entire film, creating a weird collage of the ambient music I had made over the last 2 years.
The film gave me a structure to follow and themes to stick to. It gave clarity to this music that was made mostly out of and through chaos. It also gave me the balls to put it out… I wanted to do some screenings but the guy who owns the rights to the film only wants the original version of the movie out there. I can’t blame him, I’m sure Paradjanov wouldn’t want some kid in NY pissing all over his masterpiece and calling it a soundtrack! I’ve listened to it a couple of times without watching the movie and I think it stands on its own. Or at least I hope it can!
