Baby 81 is an album by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. It is their fourth studio album and was released on April 30, 2007 in Europe and on May 1, 2007 in the U.S.. The album features a harder, more raw sound compared with their previous record Howl. It was also a studio comeback for drummer Nick Jago who was unable to participate during the recordings of Howl (other than the last track recorded during the sessions, 'Promise'). A DualDisc edition of the album was set to be released on May 1 in the U.S.; however, it has since been canceled.
The album debuted at number 46 on the U.S. Billboard 200, selling about 14,000 copies in its first week.[1]
The album title refers to Baby 81, a survivor of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake.
The track "Weapon Of Choice" is featured in the bonus setlist in Guitar Hero: World Tour and as downloadable content for Rock Band.

Beat the Devil's Tattoo is the upcoming sixth album by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, set for release on March 8, 2010 in Europe and on March 9, 2010 in North America. It is the first full-length on the band's own Abstract Dragon label, in partnership with Vagrant Records and Cooperative Music Group.

细心聆听你会发现，新专辑在整体节奏上更趋于平缓，慢歌所占的比重比前作更大，Robert Levon Been担任主唱的曲目也更多，这一切均源于Robert的父亲、同时也是乐队调音师Michael Been在2010年的离世。为了表达对其的敬意，乐队此次特意在专辑中翻唱了Michael原先乐队The Call的代表作《Let The Day Begin》，其意义不言自明。
此外，BRMC这次依然延续了每张专辑必有一首长篇曲目的传统，长达8分多钟的《Lose Yourself》以舒缓的节奏、伤感的气息为专辑收尾，Robert在其中唱道：“Close your eyes, and skip what you dream……Send your touch, but you can’t feel a thing.”这是献给其父的一曲挽歌，也是专辑中最让人动容的时刻。

Mark& nbspEverett的父亲Hugh&nbspEverett是世界著名的科学家，提出了平行空间的多世界理论（many& nbspworlds&nbsptheory），但Mark&nbspEverett可能没有遗传到这些，他的成绩很糟糕。 Everett的少年时期充满了不辛，父亲患心脏病，母亲患癌症，姐姐自杀，使得他经常处于压抑消沉的心境。
就这样Mark& nbspEverett和大多数的青年一样，痛苦而恣肆的成长，把自己放纵在狂欢与毒品之中。在1996年的专辑《Beautiful& nbspFreak》和1998年的专辑《Electro-Shock&nbspBlues》里，他的这种心境袒露无疑。他深陷苦恼，把这苦恼的矛头对准世界也对着自己，乐曲显得寒冷而诡异。
所有的青年都会长大，就象所有的春天最后都会落到地上一样。在他们2000年的第三张专辑《Daisies&nbspof&nbspthe&nbspGalaxy》里乐风已经有了一些变化，虽然以前的蚀骨阴冷还在，但他们拾起了黑色幽默这个武 器（其实从封套上就可以感觉到），他们用有趣来消解颓废和阴冷，他们的音乐中开始出现欢快的旋律，Mark& nbspEverett的心境已经开始变化。他们成功了，EELS保留了自己的思考着怀疑着的脑袋，但同时又有趣地活着，做着有趣的音乐。

Franz Ferdinand与Sparks组成新组合FFS即将于6月8号发行同名专辑FFS，先行单曲Piss Off。
FFS – the unique collaboration between Franz Ferdinand and Sparks - have announced details of the release of their self-titled album on Monday June 8th 2015 on Domino.
The first single will be released in April – details to follow shortly. In the meantime FFS are slaking fans’ thirst by previewing the album’s closing track ‘Piss Off’, fittingly the first song written for the album and the first song now to be heard in its entirety.

All Time Low is scheduled to release their third studio album on July 7, 2009, titled Nothing Personal.[6] The band is finished recording, with it being produced by Matt Squire, Butch Walker, David Bendeth and the team of S*A*M & Sluggo.[6]
On March 24, 2009, a new song named "Weightless" was made available online at AbsolutePunk.net and then for purchase on April 7, 2009 in the iTunes Store. It is the first track to be released from Nothing Personal.[13]
Vocalist Alex Gaskarth explained to Alternative Press, "our music explains all the troubles we've been through..it has many things.. This time, we tried to explore something a little bit deeper. We're exploring some new moods, which is pretty cool."[6] The band's collaboration on a song Alive with Mark Hoppus of Blink-182, will not feature on Nothing Personal, with the singer stating, "It just didn't fit the vibe of the record," but, "It will definitely come out at some time." [6]
On June 3 and 6, 2009, two clips of songs on Nothing Personal surfaced on SupJustin.com, one being "Damned If I Do Ya" and the other a demo verison of "Lost In Stereo". On June 16, 2009, the album's second single, "Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don't)", was made available on the iTunes Store, just a day after the band released it on their MySpace.
The entire album was made available for streaming download on June 30, 2009 through MTV's The Leak.

‘Love Runs Out‘ was planned as the first official single from the album ‘Native‘ but the song was discarded and not included in the final album tracklist.

在这张专辑收录的十首歌，大多数都是高旗在2000年2001年间创作的。同时，它几乎包办了专辑中全部词曲创作、编曲制作，甚至电脑编程。他说，现在乐队成员每个都是电脑研究专家。电脑音乐工作站使个人即时创作成为可能，也为乐队音乐的创作方式提供新的方式与途径。传统乐队中，以个人有了创作动机，必须等到排练的时候，各种乐器配合演练，才能初具眉目，对于创作有相当的局限和阻碍。所以传统的乐队大都必须“死磕”在一起，秘密排练切磋方能拿出作品。超载乐队的每个成员拿出去，都是国内顶尖乐手，所以各自的工作日程都很忙碌。平时有了好的创作动机，可以自己在电脑家庭工作站中先编排起来，觉得效果不错再拿出来大家排练，不好的立即舍弃。这样既能节约时间，又可以保住稍纵即逝的灵感，同时，让好音乐成为一种好玩的游戏，赋予音乐工作更多乐趣。

高旗&超载
1991年正式成立的“超载”乐队是中国Thrash Metal（激流金属）的代表乐队。主唱兼团长高旗出生于北京的音乐世家。87年和原唐朝乐队贝司手张炬及曹平组织第一个乐队，在乐队里弹吉它。第一首完整的创作“每次都想拥抱你”收集在“呼吸”首张专辑里。88年呼吸乐队成立，负责专辑里主要词曲的创作编写和音乐制作。90年与呼吸一起参加了在北京首都体育馆举办的“90中国现代音乐会”。91年万圣节那天正式成立了超载乐队。
