Tokyo Storefronts
《你的名字。》中出现的千代田区日枝神社,不远处便是鹤谷洋服店和海老原商店,自1928年开店以来,至今承接定制男装并贩售复古杂货,是神保町古着迷的淘货圣地;
新宿御苑是《秒速五厘米》和《言叶之庭》的主取景地,此地有1948年开张的中餐厅宝美楼,金灿灿的屋顶、正红色的瓷砖和栏杆分外惹眼;
……

Trees are tall, strong, ancient, and easily thought of as silent statues. <i>Tree Beings</i> challenges this perception, instead celebrating trees as our best allies in the fight to slow down climate change. In exploring this, it centres around four â??big ideasâ??: trees give life to the planet, trees can help save us from climate change, trees are like beings, and trees need our help and protection. In a vibrant combination of illustrations and text, it blends true stories and science to explain how trees are essential to our world.<br /><br />Introduced by world-renowned conservationist Dr. Jane Goodall, <i>Tree Beings</i> contains accounts of a scientist who discovered how trees â??talkâ??, the young woman with the world record for living up a tree, a boy who mobilised other children to fight climate change, the first brave tree-hugging women, and a man responsible for trillions of tree-plantings. Learn to appreciate trees through the stories of people who love them, while also reading about tree wisdom from many cultures, and some famous and fascinating tree species.<br /><br />In a world increasingly concerned with conserving our natural environments, Tree Beings is an excellent way to help children appreciate the wonder and value of nature. Learn to cherish our connection to trees, not as silent statues, but as beings that enrich the whole planet.

We all have a certain creature that makes our skin scrawl and give us the ‘heebie jeebies’. Spiders that make us scream, mice that make us jump on top of furniture until the coast is clear, or bats that make us shudder at the thought of them flapping around our hair. There are creatures big and small all over the world that make us squirm and wriggle in our seats just at the mere thought of them.<br /><br />But what did these animals ever do to deserve such a bad reputation? Most of the time it’s humans that have labelled them ugly, dangerous and downright gross. But it’s one false acquisition too many for these little guys. They’ve had enough of being called scary, slimy, nasty and ewwy. They’re here to dispel these false acquisitions and set the record straight once and for all!<br /><br /><i>"You humans have given us a BAD rep!
