2018 solo album from Big Thief’s Adrianne Lenker
Adrianne Lenker has been writing songs since she was 10 years old. Her "back story" has been well documented in various interviews and profiles for Big Thief over the last 3 years. Despite, or more likely because of the constant touring and studio work, the last few years have been some of the most prolific for Lenker as a writer. Songs pop out at soundcheck. They pop out on late night drives between cities. They pop out in green rooms, hotel stairwells, gardens, and kitchens around the world.

California singer/songwriter Jessica Pratt released her great self-titled debut in 2012 via White Fence's Birth Records imprint. On January 27, she'll release her new one, On Your Own Love Again, via Drag City.
She recorded the LP at home over the past two years. It was mixed in collaboration with Will Canzoneri.

半实验仙音吉他二人组(我很少把"仙音"这个词安到某个乐队身上)swallow越看越像是一队玩票的,要不然怎么这么多年来二个人一点动静都没有!玩神秘玩失踪也不用这样对待fans嘛!
由mike mason和louise trehy组成的Swallow可谓又是一队给人忽视的4AD乐队,原因?很简单,生不逢时.但如果听惯dreampop的耳朵对他们的声响都会很敏感,你只要比较一下90年代初那拨dreampop/shoegazing队伍的东西,你会发现swallow的声音真的是独此一家别无分号,Cocteau Twins和Lush完全盖不了他们.

Either/Or is the third studio album by American singer-songwriter Elliott Smith. Recorded in several locations mostly in Portland, Oregon while Smith was still in Heatmiser and produced by Smith, Tom Rothrock and Rob Schnapf, Either/Or was released on February 25, 1997 through record label Kill Rock Stars following the demise of Heatmiser. Book-ended by the two singles "Speed Trials" and "Ballad of Big Nothing", Either/Or did not chart in the US but was acclaimed by critics.
Following the album's release, Smith would be struck to the forefront of popular culture after performing the song "Miss Misery" at the 1998 Academy Awards, which appeared in the film Good Will Hunting.

Mighty Mighty were a popular Indie guitar pop combo hailing from Birmingham, who made their name as part of the so-called C86 scene championed by the NME on their famous cassette. Between 1986 and 1988, the band issued six singles/EP s and an album, all of which made the Indie Chart courtesy of their evocative mix of naggingly hummable tunes, poignant lyrics and a musical style which suggested a love of both The Smiths and Postcard-era Orange Juice. After rave reviews for their first two singles, Everybody Knows The Monkey and Is There Anyone Out There?, Mighty Mighty signed to local label Chapter 22 (then home to Pop Will Eat Itself, etc.), eventually issuing their sole LP Sharks in 1988. Pop Can! (the title doesn t appear on the sleeve, a nod to Andy Warhol and the Velvet Underground!) is the first comprehensive compilation of Mighty Mighty s recordings. Previous CDs are now impossible to find!

Try! is the first live album by the John Mayer Trio. It was released by Columbia Records on November 22, 2005. The album was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards.
