We Lost The Sea are a 7 piece post-metal band from Sydney Australia.
Formed in 2007, friends came together to create a new collection of noise that incorporates relentless sludge with post-rock atmospherics with melody, dynamics and crushing heaviness and elements that hold up to the likes of ISIS, Mogwai and Sigur Ros.

Departure Songs is inspired by failed, yet epic and honourable journeys or events throughout history where people have done extraordinary things for the greater good of those around them, and the progress of the human race itself. Each song has it’s own story and is a soundtrack to that story.
This is our 3rd album and our first instrumental album. We’re exploring new ground and exploring ourselves in the past 2 and a bit years since Chris went on his own journey. It’s slightly bleak with shimmers of hope and layers of emotion. It’s a tribute and a catharsis of emotion and honesty.

《days》，说的是时光么？日子一天天的过去，留在心中的美好究竟有多少？《blind》，缓慢，讲述的是怎样的一个故事？《dry me up》，带着点诡异，是不是那情人疯狂的迷恋？
DAYS - 青春的每一天。慢慢变老的每一天。充满喜悦的每一天。遗忘的每一天。那些包围着我们的各式各样颜色的感情，每一天都是一种独特的存在。每一天都应该去爱，把它温柔地融入其中，每当我们轻松的呸的一声舍弃他们，我们依然能够看到他们颜色鲜明的历史。
喜欢从旋律中感觉歌者想诉说什么，即使有时我的感觉相去甚远。这都不重要，心里的感动一样的真切。

There surely have been numerous fraught discussions on where Envy fall with regard to genre tags. It's time to give it up. The two-decade career of the Japanese quintet has been marked by cinematic melodies and crashing distortion -- there's never been a need to understand what precisely Tetsuya Fukagawa bellows in his scratching scream or spoken word bridges. Envy's just beautiful. True power.
The last few years have pointed to Envy being in transition and experimenting, as their split releases with Jesu and Thursday displayed more theories than song. But all has fallen into place on 'Recitation,' as the songs act more as movements in a Victorian poem where one song follows a traditional rock structure, and another (like 'Last Hours of Eternity') catapults the ambient moments into torture. As expected, some songs break the eight-minute mark, but some are cut to fit into 90 seconds.
Beginning on Sept. 25 Envy will begin a U.S. tour that will share stages with Touche Amore, And So I Watch You From Afar and Trash Talk.
'Recitation' is due out on Oct. 12 via Temporary Residence.

来自日本东京的三人后摇乐队 December 时隔多年沉淀和两张 EP 的洗礼,终于在今年于倦鸟唱片出品了这张全长专辑 《Alpha And Omega》 。在这张新专辑中,你讲能够听到属于 December 的独特器乐编排以及第一次流露出的对于弦乐的精妙使用;与此同时,他们在两张 EP 中所体现出的细腻也依然拿捏的恰到好处。这张译为“始终”的全长,终于丢掉了从《Torso》 里最后的一点“似曾相识”的他人影子,取而代之的,便是彻头彻尾的December了
