2010 release from the Canadian Ambient/Experimental artist. In the beginning, it was impossible to predict subtractiveLAD's musical evolution. It was as if his first album Giving Up The Ghost was the initial splash from a pebble thrown into a pond and each subsequent album a ripple which grew broader in scope, became less disruptive and more meditative. They have all had one key aspect in that Stephen Hummel, the man who records as subtractiveLAD, has always been genuine in the projection of emotions in his music. On Life At the End Of the World, Hummel's sixth album, percussive elements, pretense of genre, and theoretical pollutants that could cloud the candid nature of this current ripple in Hummel's pond are a thing of the past. The result is one of subtractiveLad's most lush yet thread bare albums to date.

akira kosemura + haruka nakamuraという名義では実に3年ぶりとなる、まさに待望の新曲「revive - 甦生-」では、UAの作品参加やライブサポートなどを務めるボーカリスト 太田美帆 が可憐に花を添え、冒頭を飾るに相応しい、心躍る軽やかな一曲に仕上がっている。続く、akira kosemura、muneki takasaka (paniyolo)、janis crunch によって結成された新ユニット tokinowa によるデビュー曲「恋の光」は、儚く揺れ動く女性の恋心を映しながらも穏やかに前向きな光を灯す、schole の新たな表情をのぞかせる一曲。
今後のリリースが待ち遠しい hummingbert stereo、yoshinoritakezawa、ghost and tape、janis crunch による清新な4組の楽曲に加えて、haruka nakamura、paniyolo、dom mino'、flica、sawako + daisuke miyatani、motohiro nakashima、teruyuki nobuchika ら、レーベルを彩り続けた面々も、このアルバムのために新たな楽曲を提供。主宰の akira kosemura もピアノソロによる異なる雰囲気を持った2曲を書き下ろした。

Ta-Dah is the second studio album by American 5-piece band Scissor Sisters, released in September 2006. The album's release in the UK, on September 18, 2006 was preceded by the release of the new single, "I Don't Feel Like Dancin'". The song reached #1 on both the UK Singles and Download charts in September 2006 (see 2006 in British music). This follow up to their debut featured collaborations with Elton John, Carlos Alomar and Paul Williams. The album entered the Irish Albums Chart at #1 on September 21, followed three days later by a #1 entry in the UK Albums Chart. The album had a respectable debut on the Billboard 200 in the US, coming in at #19 and selling 41,992 units in its first week.
"Land of a Thousand Words" was released as the second single from the album, peaking at #19 in the UK. "She's My Man" was the third single released in early March 2007 and managed to chart at #29. The next single that was released was "Kiss You Off" on May 28, the video for which can be seen in the media section of the band's website. This was the poorest charting of the singles of Ta-Dah, only being able to reach #43. This has, so far, been the lowest charting UK single on initial release. "I Can't Decide" charted at #64 on downloads alone, on the strength of being used in the Doctor Who episode "Last of the Time Lords".

2010 album from the ground-breaking Electro-Rock quintet. Something for Everybody features the band's classic line-up of Mark and Bob Mothersbaugh, Gerald and Bob Casale joined by drummer Josh Freese. Though the songs recorded for Something for Everybody are built on Devo's signature mechanized swing, the recording and resentation of the album saw the band experimenting with an entirely new approach. A series of studies were conducted through their website to help the band with its creative decisions, from color selection to song mixes.

2010 release, the third album from the American Electro-Dance/Rock act. Night Work is a Dance record but it's not all Electronic. You can still hear the sound of a band spinning out together in a rehearsal room. It is the first time Scissor Sisters have worked with another producer; they recruited Stuart Price (The Killers, Madonna) to co-produce. This collaboration sees the group's relationship with Stuart come full circle after they opened for his band Zoot Woman in 2004, their first UK tour.

Aguilera’s been hard at work in the studio for the past year and is pleased to announce the release of her highly anticipated 4th studio album Bionic (RCA Records) on June 8th, 2010. The first single from Bionic is the fiercely energetic anthem “Not Myself Tonight”, produced by Polow Da Don. The song will premiere on ChristinaAguilera.com at 6pm EDT on 3/30, impacts radio on 4/5 and will be available on iTunes on 4/13.
Bionic features songs co-written by Aguilera along with her much buzzed about collaborations including Sia, Tricky Stewart, Polow Da Don, Le Tigre, Hill & Switch, and Ladytron among others. Aguilera notes, “Working on this album with so many talented artists and producers that I admire was really an amazing experience. The artists I chose to work with added so many unique sonic layers to Bionic. My intention was to step into their world and what they do combined with my own vision and sound. The results were magic.” The album also features a ballad produced and written by Linda Perry titled “Lift Me Up”. The title Bionic reflects Aguilera’s ability to take her range to new levels and use her voice in various ways never heard before.
Aguilera describes the album as a unique mix of many genres and styles of music, “I was able to explore and create a fresh, sexy feel using both electronic and organic elements with subject matter ranging from playful to introspective. I am so excited for my fans to hear the new sound. It is something I don’t think anyone will expect.”
In addition to completing the album which was all recorded from her home studio after the birth of her first son, Christina also completed production on her first film, “Burlesque.” The film, which co-stars Cher, Stanley Tucci, and Kristen Bell will be released by ScreenGems this fall.

Limited edition pressing includes one bonus track: 'Godhead'. 2010 release from the Britrock icons, their seventh album overall and the follow-up to 2008's Silent Cry. It is the first to be released on their own Big Teeth label and the first since drummer Mark Richardson left the band; most of the drumming on this album was done by Karl Brazil of Ben's Brother. Featuring an assortment of songs written by frontman Grant Nicholas throughout 2009, it eschews acoustic guitars completely in favour of a return to the harder-edged Rock sound found on the band's early releases. 12 tracks.

2008년 동명타이틀로 데뷔 앨범을 발표한 ‘짙은’이 새로운 EP [Wonderland] 로 돌아왔다. 1집의 성공과 MBC 드라마 ‘트리플’의 음악감독 등으로, 국내 유수의 페스티벌의 무대에 서면서 대중적인 공감을 이끌어내온 짙은. 그들이 소포모어 징크스를 완벽하게 파괴한 궁극의 음악적 성취로 돌아왔다. 바로 [Wonderland].
지난 가을, 윤형로의 제대 이후부터 계속 되어온 본 앨범의 작업은 올 겨울에 끝이 나는 듯 했다. 그러나, 갑작스러운 성용욱의 건강 문제로 그들의 작업은 무기한으로 연기된다. 그 문제의 끝은 이들의 성공적인 재기로 이어지기보다는 짙은에게 찾아온 불운처럼 보였다. 병명도 알 수 없이 내내 심각한 상태로 병원을 오가기만 했던 그는 한정없이 서울을 떠나, 마음과 몸을 추스린다.
따뜻한 바람이 불자 그들은 다시 작업을 재개하게 되는데, 건강을 회복한 성용욱은 다시 맨 처음 이들이 어설프지만 최선의 것들로 담아내기 위한 연남동의 허름한 스튜디오로 돌아가서 작업을 마치고 싶다는 의사를 내비친다. 숨을 쉬는 것이라면 오지 않았으면 좋겠다고 말한 그 곳에서 그들은 가사를 새로 바꾸기도 하고 좋은 스튜디오에서 말끔하게 다듬어진 사운드들에 다시 손을 댄다.
그 결과물은 그들이 처음 밴드를 하기로 결심한 시점으로 다시 되돌아가면서 완성이 되었다. 밴드사운드의 온전한 성취와 더불어, 궁극적인 음악의 완성을 이루며, 기계적인 것에 너무 의존하지 않을 것. 따뜻한 것, 차가운 것, 소박한 것, 거대한 것이 한 데 공존하는 우리가 꿈꾸는 풍요로운 삶 같은 것. 세상 어디에도 없는 세상 같은 것이었다.
Feel Alright로 시작되는 거부하기 힘든 Wonderland 로의 항해는 작은 감정의 물방울부터 시작되고 이들의 여정은 TV Show 를 거치며 따뜻한 어쿠스틱 선율로 따뜻한 것과 쓸쓸한 감정들을 노래한다. 싱글로 미리 발표된 적 있던 December와 Save 에 이어지고, 짙은을 대표하는 어쿠스틱 피아노 선율과 저린 첼로 선율이 깊은 밤의 별처럼 금방이라도 쏟아질 것 같다.
그러한 서정성들은 어느 순간 흩어졌다 모아졌다를 반복하며, Rock Doves와 그런 너에 이르고, 북극점을 향해 달려나가는 이들의 서사는 Wonderland와 빙하에 이르러서는 거대한 물줄기가 되어 드디어는 폭발한다.
아트웍 역시 앨범 작업과 동시에 진행되었으며, 시야에 아득히 펼쳐진 광활한 공간으로 이끄는 짙은의 원더랜드와 꼭 닮은 모습이다. 1집의 아트웍을 담당한 일본의 유명 일러스트레이터 Marumiyan이 맡았다.
