德国作家、诗人、画家,被誉为“德国浪漫派骑士”。
1946年黑塞被授予诺贝尔文学奖,同年又荣获歌德奖。 凭借《德米安》《悉达多》《玻璃球游戏》等作品享誉世界文坛。

译者简介:
巴蜀译翁,本名杨武能,1938年生于重庆,国家社科基金重大研究项目“歌德及其汉译研究”首席专家。先后荣获联邦德国总统颁授的德国“国家功勋奖章”、联邦德国终身成就奖性质的洪堡学术奖金,以及国际歌德研究领域的歌德金质奖章。代表译作有《少年维特的烦恼》《悉达多》《浮士德》等。
