Teens of Denial is the thirteenth studio album by American indie rock band Car Seat Headrest. It was released on May 20, 2016 by Matador Records, serving as the band's second album for the label and the follow-up to their 2015 debut major-label release, Teens of Style.

Dark ambient meditations on the purity of primal feeling associated with isolation. It is difficult in modern society to fully clear the mind of task based review and thought. “The Fourth Presence” is intended as an aid for full immersion and submission into the originating darkness; an area we infrequently visit throughout our lives although it is our ultimate collective destination.
It is highly recommended that playback occur late at night while prone and devoid of everyday occupations. A darker companion to current ambient releases from Australian ambient musician Michael Meara, this album primarily utilises processed guitar drones and various field recordings as source material.

A Seat At The Table, is the new album from Solange Knowles. The album will be available digitally on September 30th, released on CD November 18th, and on vinyl LP December 9th. Solange describes A Seat At The Table as "a project on identity, empowerment, independence, grief and healing."
A Seat At The Table was written by Solange, and features a host of guest artists including Q-Tip, Kelly Rowland, The Dream, BJ The Chicago Kid, Kelela, Tweet, Moses Sumney, Sampha, Sean Nicholas Savage, Nia Andrews, Devonte Hynes of Houston Texas and Lu of Carolina.

Synthy California pop act Craft Spells — a.k.a. Justin Vallesteros — impressed us with 2011's Idle Labor, but we haven't heard much from him since 2012's Gallery EP. That has now changed with the announcement of Nausea, due out on June 10 through Captured Tracks.
The album was recorded with producer Dylan Wall and features bandmates Javier Suarez and Andy Lum. It apparently reflects a big change since we last heard from Vallesteros; a press release explains that he moved to San Francisco, but after battling writer's block, he headed back to his family's house in Lathrop, CA. There, he trained in piano and wrote all of the album on the instrument.
The results showcase what a press release calls a "bold, beautiful and lush new sound" with organic piano, strings and acoustic guitars. Sonic touchstones include Emitt Rhodes and the solo works of Yellow Magic Orchestra members Haruomi Hosono and Yukihiro Takahashi.

Following a spate of EPs and singles comes the debut album by Tamaryn, entitled "The Waves".
After collaborating with producer Rex John Shelverton (ex-Vue/The Audience/Portraits of Past), Tamaryn left New York and settled in Rex’s hometown of San Francisco to record their first full-length. Whereas Tamaryn’s earlier material was rooted in traditional goth-psych overtones, The Waves represents an incredible step forward in terms of her approach. These nine songs combine driving pop and lush balladry with layered, guitar-driven ethereal atmospheres, against which Tamaryn’s voice, languid and restrained, melts against its surface.
The Waves is a masterful collision of hypnotic psychedelia and bittersweet dream pop.
