Obscured by Clouds is the seventh studio album by English progressive rock band Pink Floyd, based on their soundtrack for the French film La Vallée, by Barbet Schroeder. Some copies of the album refer to the film by its English title, The Valley. The cover of Obscured by Clouds is an out-of-focus film still of a man in a tree. The lyrics and music tell the story of one's journeys. The album was released in the United Kingdom on 2 June 1972, and a few weeks later in the United States, by Harvest, reaching number 6 and number 46 respectively. A single, "Free Four", was issued in the US only.

A Momentary Lapse of Reason is the thirteenth studio album by the English progressive rock band Pink Floyd, released in the UK on 7 September 1987 by EMI and the following day in the US on Columbia. It was recorded primarily on guitarist David Gilmour's converted houseboat, Astoria.

The Final Cut is the twelfth studio album by English rock band Pink Floyd, released on 21 March 1983 in the United Kingdom and on 2 April in the United States through Harvest and Columbia Records. It comprises unused material from the previous Pink Floyd record, The Wall, alongside new material recorded throughout 1982. The Final Cut extends the autobiography of The Wall, concentrating on Roger Waters ' pain when his father died in World War II. Waters spins this off into a treatise on the futility of war, concentrating on the Falkland Islands, setting his blistering condemnations and scathing anger to impossibly subdued music that demands full attention.

而专辑的第二盘CD则可以说是作为纪念阿波罗登月25周年所举行的一系列庆典巡回演唱会真实的记录者。尽管被制作成现场演奏版本，但乐队对 DARK SIDE 的重新演绎依旧保持了其特有的风采并没有一丝减弱的痕迹：“Money”和“Time”，专辑中两首最具思想内涵的曲目，依旧是那么地动人 —— 前者如同该曲注册商标般的收银机的音响效果影射了社会中丧失灵魂的铜臭味；而后者则显现出一连串极富震撼力的前卫演绎；其它曲目如“On the Run”的声音听上去就如同原始唱片一样效果，听众任由乐队带领这飞上天空或穿行于酒吧之间；而女歌手 Sam Brown 夸张地演唱贯穿“The Great Gig In The Sky”的全曲；“Us and Them”的演出极其完美地展现了歌曲里面那挽歌般悲哀绝望的情绪；“Brain Damage”还和以前那样让人“头脑迟钝”，而作为乐团演唱会上的encores曲依旧按惯例安排了“Wish You Were Here、Comfortably Numb 和 Run Like Hell”三首曲目。不过对于磁带的听众而言，里面的内容比CD多了的行冗长的沙沙嘈杂声、鸟鸣声、钟鸣声以及ambient声音等一系列音响效果所组成的音乐会前的效果带。

David Gilmour 恰倒好处地把握住 Roger Waters 的声部，不过为避免与先前的那种极富想象力的且易引起争议的音乐乐间奏曲式的演奏比较 —— 例如，“On The Run”声音听上去就象是 The Orb 的那种极富即兴演奏的真正音乐先锋。当然，极富冲击力的“Money、Us And Them 和 Brain Damage”等的重新不间断的演绎又表现出一种音响的新鲜感，听上去依旧是那么亲切。Pink Floyd，我们现代的 Homer，Jason 或者 The Argonauts，他们的故事将永远伴随着我们，但是我们是否能有幸再一次聆听他们的演奏吗？

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (often referred to simply as Sgt. Pepper) is the eighth studio album by the English rock band the Beatles. Released on 26 May 1967, Sgt. Pepper is regarded by musicologists as an early concept album that advanced the roles of sound composition, extended form, psychedelic imagery, record sleeves, and the producer in popular music. The album had an immediate cross-generational impact and was associated with numerous touchstones of the era's youth culture, such as fashion, drugs, mysticism, and a sense of optimism and empowerment. Critics lauded the album for its innovations in songwriting, production and graphic design, for bridging a cultural divide between popular music and high art, and for reflecting the interests of contemporary youth and the counterculture.

Abbey Road is the eleventh released studio album by English rock band The Beatles and their last recorded. Though Let It Be was the last album released before the band's dissolution in 1970, work on Abbey Road began in April 1969. Abbey Road was released on 26 September 1969 in the United Kingdom, and 1 October 1969 in the United States. It was produced and orchestrated by George Martin for Apple Records. Geoff Emerick was engineer, Alan Parsons was assistant engineer, and Tony Banks was tape operator.
Abbey Road is regarded as one of The Beatles' most tightly constructed albums, although the band was barely operating as a functioning unit at the time.Rolling Stone placed it at number 14 on its list of "The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time". 1个肥胖臃肿的女人的三个姿态的画像，肥女人朝下看的角度，样子有些鄙夷。标题叫圣经，团名Manic street preachers故意用类似俄文的反写体，这般视觉设计颇具讽刺效果。翻开这套10週年纪念版，里头的相片无论是列宁纪念碑旁斑剥的妙龄女子还是戴著红星军帽的女孩抑或是主唱头戴恐怖份子的黑头套，埋头苦乾电吉他的姿态，音乐还没播放，就感受的到这班乐队杀气腾腾的气势，彷彿这不是张CD，而是他们的革命宣言。
1994年Manic street preachers发表了他们的第三张专辑《圣经密码Holy Bible》。宣告了他们乐队的创作，达到奠定风格的成熟阶段。承袭后庞克先贤脚步，以简洁有力的曲式风格，低调虚无的歌词内容，显示出成员内省的一面。眾所皆知的吉他手Richey James Edwards在1995年2月失踪事件，可能是摇滚乐史上的最离奇的故事之一，Richey主理歌词创作，他的歌曲所透露出的虚无自毁倾向，或许是日后失踪事件的伏笔。
