Gemma Ray is a British songwriter, guitarist, singer, film composer and producer.

Zero 7由Henry Binns及Sam Hardaker两位在伦敦当地录音室工作的伙伴一起组合而成，九零年代初期他们潜伏于录音室中，锻炼各种音乐制作上的技巧，并逐步发表他们改造别人歌曲的混音作品，其人以为英国摇滚名团Radiohead的”Climbing up the walls”以及Terry Callier的”Love Theme from Spartacus”最引人注目，展露精湛的制作功力，并与Pet Shop Boys及Robert Plant等巨星合作，在首张专辑《Simple Things》出版之前他们发表了两张少量生产的EP，造成了一股抢购搜集的热潮。
《Simple Things》一张集合各式轻松电乐感觉的作品，混融爵士、灵魂、放克等元素在柔缓的chill-out电音情调中，辑内的演唱歌声部份特别找到了 Mozez,Sia Furler以及曾在Groove Armada、 Grooverider专辑中献声的Sophie Barker跨刀。音乐杂志形容他们是”英国的Air”，也有很多人喜欢把他们拿来和Morcheeba, Rae & Christian, Nightmares on Wax及早期的Massive Attack等乐团做比较，不过这些都不能确切地表达出Zero 7在此辑中的完美演出，不刻意地加入歌剧中受灵魂乐影响的女伶歌声，古典音乐的编曲风格以及带有迷幻气息的电子音墙，实在令人不得不赞叹这两位制作高手的深厚功夫。
NME音乐周报－８分，All Music Guide音乐网站－四颗半星，都给予此辑近满分的超高评价，而Zero7也以这张作品分别荣膺英国两大指针性音乐奖：水星音乐奖(Mercury Music Prize) “年度专辑”及全英音乐奖(Brit Award) “最佳新进团体”等提名。喜欢轻淡舒缓的如Air、 Groove Armada、 Bent这些人的电音作品的话，千万别错过Zero 7这张专辑，光是”In the Waiting Line”一曲中的曼妙曲调就足以让人流连忘返。

英国民谣歌手Dido在众人期待中将发行她的第三张专辑，新专辑名为《Safe Trip Home》将于11月4日上市。专辑邀请了不少知名音乐人参与制作，其中还包括DIDO的亲哥哥-Faithless成员Rollo Armstrong。
据悉，新唱片《Safe Trip Home》由Jon Brion (琼·布里昂)和Dido以及Dido的兄弟Rollo Armstrong (罗洛·阿姆斯特朗)联手制作，而在专辑中的一首歌曲《Grafton Street》当中，著名环境音乐大师Brian Eno (布赖恩·伊诺)也参与了创作。
Dido透露说，在录制《Safe Trip Home》时，她曾去美国加州洛杉矶的一所大学里面去深造音乐课程。Dido在接受英国BBC采访时说道，她之所以去大学里面深造音乐课程是因为她想改变一下自己从而能够更真实地去表现自己所想表达的音乐。Dido说：“你能够从学习当中想得更远，你的脑子也变得十分活跃，这很疯狂。我喜欢这样。”
Dido 在2000年与美国著名嘻哈歌手Eminem（艾米纳姆）合作了一首歌曲而一炮走红。　1999年，Dido推出了她的处子专辑《No Angel》，在即将跟歌迷见面的这张《Safe Trip Home》之前，Dido的最新专辑是2003年那张《Life for Rent》。据统计显示，《Life for Rent》在Billboard 200专辑榜中的最好成绩是第四位，截至目前，《Life for Rent》在全美的总销量共计超过了210万张。

Only Real has announced details of his debut album 'Jerk At The End Of The Line'.
The London artist's debut will be released on March 30, 2015 through Virgin EMI and was produced by Dan Carey (Hot Chip, Childhood, Franz Ferdinand) in London and Ben Allen (Washed Out, Deerhunter) in Atlanta.
The album features previous tracks 'Backseat Kissers', 'Cadillac Girl' and 'Pass The Pain' as well as a host of previously unheard new material.

'Marks to Prove It' is the first single from the band's upcoming fourth album.
The single was produced by Hugo White, The Maccabees and Laurie Latham, and was recorded at Elephant Studios and mixed by Cenzo Townshend.

Ghostpoet is pleased to announce his forthcoming album ‘Shedding Skin’.
The first fruits of the album, the track ‘Off Peak Dreams’ has already been premiered on Zane Lowe’s Radio One show and sees Ghostpoet, London-based Obaro Ejimiwe moving on from the cathartic musings of 2013’s ‘Some Say I So I Say Light’ album.
‘Shedding Skin’ is the manifestation of a new challenge of fresh thinking and a brave confident stride into previously uncharted waters. Ten songs that embrace, unite and narrate observations that are designed to sit beside each other through bright peaks and dark shallows.
Unlike his previous albums, ‘Shedding Skin’ was recorded with a traditional live set up with what has become his touring band; Joe Newman on guitar, bass player John Calvert and John Blease on drums.
The self-produced album also features guest vocals from Nadine Shah, Etta Bond, Melanie De Biasio, Lucy Rose and Maxïmo Park’s Paul Smith, amounting in a collection that sets a new precedent as his very best work yet.

The English alt-rock band Loop disbanded in 1991, which makes “Precession” the first song they’ve released in 25 years. Robert Hampson and his then-girlfriend Becky Stewart founded Loop in 1986, and the band underwent numerous lineup changes in their five years of existence after the couple broke up, all the while pulling from darkly experimental icons such as Suicide and Can and morphing them into their own unique krautrock/No Wave/shoegaze concoction. In 2013, Hampson reunited Loop to curate a night at the Camber Sands edition of All Tomorrow’s Parties. After building steam throughout 2014, they’ll release a series of three projects this year beginning with Array 1 this June.
