I came to this book with so many interpersonal relationship confusions and learned so many valuable concepts and gained so much emotional experience. I can smugly say that I learned a lot as a man through this reading journey. At the end of the day, despite some slightly different origins of shame, men and women are not that different when they are facing those painful feelings and the fear of being excluded. We should all take it personal and practice our ordinary courage, compassion, and empathy so that we can change our environment together.

A sounding extension to the previous story. And this time, Gutman offers young readers more of an exciting adventure throughout the development of the event. And I love Kelsey the best. She is the ONLY personality in the story that keeps growing. I love that she keeps giving out sensible topics like climate change for young readers to pay attention to. Apart from that, those "Boys will be boys" kind of claims annoys me a bit. Through Brenton gives out the most beautiful sentences across the whole story.

I'm so grateful to get access to this book as early as right now. It gives me a brand-new perspective on what is authentic science and how I can facilitate concrete science knowledge. It also fully demonstrates the hidden facts of why so many people still act totally against those mounting evidences of global warming, cancer-leading smoking, harmful acid rain, etc. That is because of the ideologically driven spread of doubt by a handful of right-wing science traitors. Besides, I finally learned about how the media's misunderstanding of fairness helps these traitors hoax the public and delay the necessary regulation as much as possible.

For me the most important take-away of this book is that literally NO ONE wants to change just because of someone telling the truth or some concrete basic sense during a conversation. I'm glad that I eventually understand this psychological logic in spite of so many years of struggling in communicating with others. A lot to keep thinking deep about this book, but I still have a major doubt on the point that winning people over by standing a lot into their logic/moral grounds. If you agree too much,the others are just more than fine,then why should they change their perspectives to agree with you?

One of the most impressive questions being raised in the novel is that why is it so hard to form such a space for female to just walk in, wander,enjoy each other's company and feel safe. At the very end it's kind of moving for me to see most of the characters did have their choices to go for a new life. All in all I assume that the screen writing is decent but some of the words are not friendly to the beginners.

It's very clear that money DOESN'T make those developmental psychology patterns gone and the development needs of those kids from the wealthiest households are not so much different from the rest. Ironically, money does create some new problems especially mental problems for those fluent kids. The author also recommends some sound researches for us to check out.
