With loads of enthusiasm and a life-long raw passion for music, Cannons, a new indie-electro band, found one another in 2013 in Los Angeles, CA. Wasting little time, lead singer Michelle Joy, Lead Guitarist Ryan Clapham, and Paul Davis on drums and keys, created their own unique sound that naturally formed while fans quickly filled in the big genre question mark with more refined names like “nudisco”, “future boogie”, and “chill-wave/indie pop”. Cannons artfully melds organic and electronic sounds with an influential background based on 80’s synth, 70’s R&B/soul, current deep house music and electronic production. Cannons has been taking on fans of all ages from all over the world in such a short amount of time with their truly unique and impossible to pinpoint with just one word sound. Cannons has one mission! To keep you dancing all night long!

After a 12-year hiatus, the Norwegian duo returns with an especially airbrushed take on easy-listening pop. At their best, the Kings sound deceptively effortless, but the facade is sometimes too smooth.

落日飞车第三张专辑「SOFT STORM 柔性风暴」是一阵打从裤脚抚至内心的风，不由分说地让浸湿在爱情环流的听者随之摆动。专辑名称毫不掩饰地指向 Quiet Storm (宁静风暴) 这个多情的当代 R&B 类别，昭示著来袭的浪漫故事只会不断增强，踩踏轻摇滚的灵巧脚步顺风而行，让空气粒子沾染电子灵魂乐的魅力，折射亚洲五声音阶的绵延柔光。
柔性风暴的场景是笼罩在风雨中的城市，镜头凝视著城市居民来往的身影。这里可以是与颱风为伴的台湾，也可以是地球上任何有心醉及心碎之人的城市。在国宏笔下，无法令人招架的爱情与风暴彼此幻化，是空气中的不安与蠢动、是抢至眼前的电光火石、是髮梢到指缝的浸润、是理智弃守的焦虑，以及雨过天晴后的百废待兴。相较过往的飞车，柔性风暴更加不容分说的将所有人的情慾捲入其外围环流，在暴风眼的中心凝视著关于爱恋的哀愁。从「Overlove/终爱」到「Passerby/过客」，从「Candelight/烛光」到吹熄烛光，轻声述说著在风雨中的相拥，及放晴后的放下爱情。
在这难以捉摸的一年，外界的不可抗力牵动著柔性风暴的製作过程，让这张专辑以意想不到的方式诞生。经历数年紧凑的巡迴行程后，寻求新探险的国宏在 2020 年初踏上洛杉矶的街道，尝试与另一组创作团队合作，探索音乐上的其他可能性，并邀请西岸的传奇製作人、歌手 Ned Donehy 指导新作品的录製。意料外的疫情让这趟旅程嘎然而止，不过仓促返台的国宏在行囊中满满地装著于异地完成的新歌，回到家乡与飞车团员聚首。
于是，这些曲折在音轨上刻成了对折的地图，将远行与归途之路铺在黑胶沟槽两侧，而唱针代替了指南针，标示著新声音的方向。以强劲的电子鼓声、温暖的合成器贝斯铺底，蜿蜒流泻的钢琴与情绪收放自如的电吉他彼此呼应，将 Donehy 的慵懒揉合进 Yellow Magic Orchestra/高桥幸宏的炫目色彩。
「柔性风暴」是飞车在 33⅓ 转速唱盘上刮起的浪漫旋风，让大规模的柔情肆虐，让那些关于爱的情绪都能得到释放。

Destroyer returns with a new full-length, Poison Season. In addition, a two-song 12-inch that includes a remix of album track “Forces From Above” and the orchestral version of “Times Square, Poison Season” will be released as a companion to the record.
Poison Season opens with Vancouver native Dan Bejar swathed in Hunky Dory strings. He’s a dashboard Bowie surveying four wracked characters—Jesus, Jacob, Judy, Jack—simultaneously Biblical and musical theatre. This bittersweet, Times Square-set fanfare is reprised twice more on the record—first as swaying, saxophone-stoked “street-rock” and then finally as a curtain-closing reverie.
“The first and last songs are actually one song tracked live with quintet,” explains their author. “I even sang with the band. That song always swung between super austere and super mid-’70s Springsteen/Bowie street-rock. In the end, I decided I wanted both. Couldn’t really figure out a way to sequence the orchestral version within the record, so I decided to carve it up as a book-ending motif, with the rock version squarely in the middle.”
Mr. Bejar has long displayed a chameleonic instinct for change while maintaining a unified aesthetic (rather than just pinballing between reference points). No two records sound the same, but they’re always uniquely Destroyer. His latest incarnation often appears to take sonic cues from a distinctly British (usually Scottish, to be precise) strain of sophisti-pop: you might hear traces of Aztec Camera, Prefab Sprout, Orange Juice, or The Blow Monkeys. These songs merge a casual literary brilliance with intense melodic verve, nimble arrangements, and a certain blue-eyed-soul sadness.

「椅子Chairs’」是來自台中的獨立民謠(Indie folk)樂團，實驗民謠與各種樂風的胡亂組合，突破聽覺的窠臼。民謠描繪出大眾生活的酸、甜、苦、辣，椅子則是最貼近人們的事物：人們習以為常、從不特別探究，卻不可或缺。椅子樂團透過創作訴說小人物的日常及其在生命中所堆疊出的大故事。

夏日美好的星期日午后，来点乐芙莉圣代正是时候！ 为这个时代带来一些幽默感！《Lovely Sunday 乐芙莉圣代》是椅子乐团The Chairs的第二号作品。这支由咏靖、仲颖、伯元三人组成的年轻组合在2017年因为当兵缘故休团，期间结识了音乐制作人黄荣毅，几个大男孩对于音乐的理念一拍即合，激发出强烈的创作火花。一年多的沉淀，终于孵育出这张集复古、浪漫、搞怪、迷幻于一身的摇滚专辑。
本专辑由新生代制作人黄荣毅担任制作，邀请落日飞车鼓手罗尊龙、美国鼓手Cody Byassee及萨克斯風演奏家谢明谚一同助阵，并在录音师陈以霖、Zen以及混音师Andy Baker、黄文萱等金曲阵容的协助下完成制作。
