Made over the course of 2020, when the world was at a standstill, it’s the sound of a band growing up; five guys who’ve known each other since childhood and are finding their way together, in spite of all the major obstacles the last 18 months have thrown at them, when they were unable to return home to Australia and see their loved ones. Day/Night is huge in scope and sound, and its hopeful messages of perseverance through difficult times are a balm for these uncertain times.

Bella Union will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Sex Education. The album features the original songs from the show by singer/songwriter Ezra Furman. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, January 24 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A physical version is set to come out on April 10. Sex Education is created by Laurie Nunn and stars Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, Ncuti Gatwa, Connor Swindells, Emma Mackey and Kedar Williams-Stirling. The series revolves around a socially awkward high school virgin who lives with his sex therapist mother and teams up with a rebel girl to form a school sex-therapy clinic. The second season of the comedy just premiered this past Friday and is now available to stream on Netflix.

Ice Chest Musick has released a new soundtrack EP for the Netflix original series Sex Education. The 5-track EP features three new songs from the third season of the show written and performed by Ezra Furman (and produced by series composer Oli Julian), as well as two tracks by Furman and his former band The Harpoons.
