存在于1987-1991年间的美国post-rock乐队，这是他们的第二张，也是最后一张完整的录音室专辑，专辑发行不久乐队即告解散。他们在音乐中大量使用吉他噪音和怪异的和弦来营造旋律和氛围，人声退居到很不显眼的位置。这张专辑被许多人认为是第一张后摇滚专辑，影响十分深远。专辑发行的时候，封套上留了个地址，希望有兴趣参与的女音乐人和他们联系。PJ Harvey曾经给这个地址去过信，但那时乐队已经不存在了。

肯塔基州路易维尔的 Slint 成军于 1987 年，在出版两张叫好不叫座的专辑《Tweez》(1989) 和《Spiderland》(1991) 后便宣告解散﹝1994 年出版的迷你辑《Slint》录制于 1990 年左右﹞，但影响力却随着团员四散新组的乐团，和无数受 Slint 启蒙而纷纷仿效的后进，而与日俱增。被众多媒体包括 Alternative Press、 Pitchfork 等选为90 年代百大专辑，NME、Melody Maker 等选为乐史百大专辑，由 Steve Albini 制作的 《Spiderland》是乐史第一张可以称作后摇滚的唱片。这个堂皇的冠冕虽然成就了后来 Slint 无与伦比的传奇名声，但实际上听过 Slint 音乐的人，其实少得可怜，不少人可能只听过 1995 年发的《Kids》原声带里收录的结束曲〈Good Morning Captain〉。但无庸置疑的，从 Polvo、June of 44、Dirty Three 到 Mogwai、Godspeed You Black Emporer!、Sigur Ros，Slint 的影响至今持续发酵。

These songs were recorded in our new home in North Carolina during the early winter months of 2013.
You will hear studio versions of some of these songs on a brand new full length album released before the end of the year.
Some of these songs you may never find anywhere else again.
"Tired Lungs" was recorded back in PA in the early parts of 2012.
It was supposed to be released on our cassette last spring through Ethic Records, but the release had to be cancelled. This is the first time this song has been physically released in any form, and will most likely be the last time.
Keep dreaming. Keep exploring. Keep trying new things. Stay curious. this is our punk rock, forever.

Polish post-rock community Post Rock PL kindly shared with us their new compilation of best polish post rock artists. After first listen I notice The Sky Is, God's Own Prototype and N A O, they quickly became my favourite new artists after first listen, also I know Klimt for their album "Agape" in 2009. You can listen to the entire compilation on their BandCamp page.
The first compilation that gathers all polish post-rock/ambient/post-metal artists up in one place! Loads of new, not well-known (yet!) projects, unpublished, exclusive tracks and debuts!

Texas has always had a profound effect on its musicians. Whether made evident through identity, personality, tradition or sound, it is apparent in all cases that bands from Texas are shaped from and heavily influenced by the Lone Star State – Bright Like The Sun is no exception.
Bright Like The Sun is a Post-Rock band from San Antonio. They were born in early 2012 from the collective desire to make beautiful, thought provoking, and at times, chaotic music. Much like fellow Texan bands like Explosions in the Sky and This Will Destroy You, they are entirely instrumental, and known for creating progressively intricate waves of ambiance that grow with intensity and an unabashed wash of emotion. Attuned to their affinity for dynamics, seeing them live takes the listener from deafening walls of orchestrated sound, to melodies so subtle that one finds themselves acutely aware of their own breathing.
Bright Like The Sun’s debut album, Coda Fin, was engineered/mixed by Alex Bhore (of This Will Destroy You), and mastered by TW Walsh (of Pedro The Lion). The record, which was self released, will be available on April 12, 2013.

来自美国加州的四人钢琴后摇团，三兄妹其中的妹妹负责键盘和提琴部分。这张EP的水准相比前两张专辑好得不是一点半点，主要体现在优美的旋律上，人声部分也恰到好处。特别是女声，听起来舒服极了。
