If Anything Happens To The Cat is an indie post-rock band based in Ghent, Belgium. Combining lots of passion with a big DIY attitude and influenced by bands in all kinds of music genres, they create the music they feel at heart. The rule is simple: everything is possible. After years of exploring, searching ourselves, and composing pieces here and there, we found ourselves with more questions than answers.
When we could not find these answers in the outside world, we were bound to turn inward. And so we went back to our roots.
This is something we wanted to do while we still have the chance. What cannot be explained in words to parents, we hope can be captured by these songs.
We hope that this album serves as a gift from child to parent. While everything else continues to change, this love remains a constant throughout time.

He Has Left Us Alone but Shafts of Light Sometimes Grace the Corner of Our Rooms… is the debut album of Canadian post-rock group A Silver Mt. Zion, who now record under the name Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra. The album was recorded by guitarist Efrim Menuck and bassist Thierry Amar at the Hotel2Tango in 1999, mostly during breaks while touring with Godspeed You! Black Emperor. It was published by the Montreal-based record label Constellation on March 27, 2000.

pacificUV的主腦Clay Jordan與Howard Hudson，一個深受Shoegazer樂風的影響，想用以綿延音牆與呢喃歌聲來譜以歌曲；而另一卻想用長達三十分鐘的和絃來呈現Space Rock向度。這兩種看似迥異的元素，卻在2002年打造出讓《Rolling Stone》雜誌稱為大師傑作的專輯。在此專輯之中，可以獲得使人陷入自溺迴圈的聲響，及耳邊細語呢喃的紓鬱歌聲，皆懸盪在緩慢靜止的時間上，令人無可自拔地滯留在那纏繞不去的延展時空。
我們可以說Slowcore、Dream Pop、Post Rock、Shoegazer各元素充分融入此張專輯裡，但更可以說，他們用以綿延音景當作空間架構，並以緩慢寧靜的速度減緩所能感知的時間，好比即刻當下靜止的海浪，甚至是沉穩的長鏡頭、靈光乍現的快照，任何所能想像的，靜止、抽離、停緩時間下的感知。
