乐队的第一个现场专辑以亚历山大宫为背景，按照计划演奏了 1 小时 45 分钟，其中只出现了一个纰漏。后期由混音师 birgir jon birgisson 在棚内录制，因为 inni 的现场音效并不能达到身临其境感受胜利玫瑰乐队的最佳效果。
将这二者融合， inni 的电影和现场专辑会带给我们一个难以置信的胜利玫瑰乐队，告诉着世人他们从来哪里来，并将去向何方。
inni 是 sigur rós（胜利玫瑰乐团）继 2007 年巡演的纪录片 heima（听风的歌）后第二部现场电影。heima 主要定位于乐队的家乡冰岛，从地理、社会和历史的角度介绍他们的音乐，而 inni 则完全专注于乐队的演出，与 heima 万花筒般丰富多元的内容形成了鲜明对比。heima 给人的感觉是郁郁葱葱、丰富多彩，而 inni 则是淡淡的甚至呈现近乎单一的色调。inni 采用亲切与幽闭恐惧相结合的方式拍摄，使观众与乐队零距离面对面交流，同时描绘乐队与观众的感受，体验现场真实的 sigur rós。
导演 morisset 曾用 16 毫米数码镜头将影片重新拍过，提升了整部影片的基调，而后来再次重拍。这一次的重拍，有时用棱镜以及其他发现的对象拍摄，使"inni"从视觉和感受上都像是从之前的影片复原而成。影片使用这种拍摄效果，追溯到 1998 年，重现乐队过去二十年的岁月。这种拼接让观众对 sigur rós 的起源、演变、原创性及其影响力都有了更为充分的了解。

Opening October 15th nationwide, Friday Night Lights (a Universal picture starring Billy Bob Thornton and Tim McGraw, based on the best-selling book of the same name) features an original score by Temporary Residence top-seller Explosions In The Sky!

The film chronicles the entire 1988 season of a high school football team from Odessa, TX (adjacent to Explosions In The Sky’s hometown of Midland, TX). It focuses on the ongoing financial and emotional struggles of a small town that places all of its hopes on the team's chances at winning the state championship.

The Universal soundtrack – scheduled for release October 5 – includes Explosions In The Sky’s score, as well as a new Faith Hill/Tim McGraw duet and a new track by No Doubt's Gwen Stefani. Universal estimates the soundtrack will top one million copies sold by Christmas 2004. It is expected to debut in Billboard’s Top 10.

"Have You Passed Through This Night," from Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Die... is featured in the film's trailer, which began airing in theaters nationwide June 11. The trailer began airing on national television during the Olympic Games.

Explosions In The Sky will release its fifth album, titled Take Care, Take Care, Take Care, April 26 on Temporary Residence Ltd. Recorded at Sonic Ranch in El Paso TX by John Congleton and produced by the band, Take Care, Take Care, Take Care is the West Texas quartet’s first full length studio effort since 2007’s All Of A Sudden I Miss Everyone. The record was mixed by Congleton at Austin TX’s Public Hi Fi studio and features artwork by longtime visual collaborator Esteban Rey.
Tickets are on sale now for Explosions In The Sky’s biggest headlining show to date: April 6 at New York City’s famed Radio City Music Hall featuring special guests Low and a first ever solo piano performance by Eluvium. The Radio City date is the first confirmed stop on Explosions In The Sky’s forthcoming 2011 tour, whose UK/Europe leg commences May 16 in Dublin and runs through May 25 in Amsterdam. Not a new band, howver one that deserves a mention! The End of the Ocean have a new CD coming out soon, and what a corker it seems to be! Appearing on Future Recordings, it’s going to be an 8 track CD/Digital download. Track 5 has already surfaced with a teaser video, so take a moment to watch and listen and you’ll understand why I’m excited.
