Tokyo’s Mono is a peculiar group. While most bands offer up their sincerest and most genuine recordings in their infancy and spend the rest of their careers trying desperately to rediscover their youthful energy, Mono's trajectory has been quite the opposite. This flourish of hopeful creativity was captured by Steve Albini in the form of the eight pieces that make up their third album Walking Cloud And Deep Red Sky, Flag Fluttered And The Sun Shined. More lush and orchestral than previous recordings, the album couples an overall slow-melting ambience with a thunderous drive that reaches far greater heights than the band’s earlier work.

沼澤樂隊首張古琴器樂搖滾專輯《滄浪星》，歷經5年籌備、創作和錄製，於2010年12月18日發行。

Seoul is the second release from the Icelandic quartet amiina. It is also the first single from their debut album Kurr. It was self-released on November 6th 2006 in Europe and released by The Worker's Institute on November the 7th 2006 in the USA. In January 2007 it was made available on iTunes by the Danish label Rumraket.
The 12" Vinyl EP is limited and hand numbered to 1000 copies.

Debut EP from Amina, a four piece from Iceland who have been performing since 1998 and are currently setting the indie world alive with their strange and hypnotic instrumental music. They take on found sounds, field recordings, and all manner of stringed instruments to create their unique sound. They came to prominence as the string section on the last two records Sigur Ros albums. 2005.

Most music lovers first heard of Amiina due to their association with another Icelandic band called Sigur Ros. The girls started working with Sigur Ros in the mid 90's, resulting in their first shows with the band in 1999. The rest, of course, is history, as Amiina became the string players for all of Sigur Ros' subsequent tours and records.

Like the sound of cooing, aspects of Amiina's music flicker quietly and float softly, content and beautiful. Kurr is full of dazzling moments of that caliber, a wholly original work that is delicate, intricate and dream-like. Their music is genuinely so special, ineffably charming and infused with a sense of cosmic magic. It's certainly wielded that power on us.

The two intertwined music projects Les Discrets and Alcest will issue a split release at the end of this year, available in both 12" vinyl and double CD formats with new and previously unreleased songs, including three exclusive tracks.

Acetate Zero formed in Paris, France in 1996.
In the early stages of the band, they mimicked the sounds of a meeting with Disco Inferno and Dead C. Over thelast ten years, they have subtly yet expanded on, minimized, and perfected their gorgeous timbre. Surely you will hear elements of Bedhead, Mogwai, and other such name-droppings. But they also incorporate electronic elements, loops and skittering additives, much like mid-to-late period Hood, perhaps. However, theirs is a sound that is all their own - one for late nights and grey skies and mournful beauty.
The first single appeared in 1998, followed shortly in 1999 by their debut album 'Softcore Paradise' - released in an edition of 200 vinyl-only copies and selling out almost instantly. This album has since been reissued via US label Drumkid Records (originally slated for Slumberland Records but did not happen for reasons-unknown). As the band puts it, their finely honed and perfectly refined sound was now "A certain melancholy post lo-fi air of nothing."
Several singles later, the group emerged with their second album 'Ground Altitude' in 2002, followed by 'Crestfallen', their 3rd album, in 2004 - both albums released on French label Arbouse Recordings. Again, these albums arenow out of print and Acetate Zero leaves the masses yearning for more.
Acetate Zero's performance are rare, less than two dozen in their decade of existence. During that time, they have played with Album Leaf, Encre, The New Year, Empress, and even took part in festival MO' FO # 4.
Most recently they have toured in february 2006 with Rothko, intended to coincide with the release of « Somehow About Perfection », their last 12’’ out on Clairecords in USA, probably the best introduction of their melancholic
sharp tended guitars.
