《越南语文化语言学》以越南语与越南社会文化的关系为研究对象，从越南语文字、语义、语法、修辞等方面入手，揭示越南语系统特点所体现的越南民族丰富多彩的社会文化现象，另一方面又以社会文化为视角，探讨越南语言文字及其使用规律，从社会文化的变迁去寻求其语言变化的动因。尤其注重以比较的方法，从历时和共时的角度细加分析，力求勾勒出越南语言文化的真实面貌，正本清源，客观分析中国语言文化对越南语言文化的影响途径、方式、程度以及越南民族吸收外来语言文化的民族价值观和处理方式，给越南语言文化乃至越南学的学习和研究提供相对客观的参考意见。

This collection brings together the best contemporary philosophical work in the area of intersection between philosophy of language and the law. Some of the contributors are philosophers of language who are interested in applying advances in philosophy of language to legal issues, and some of the participants are philosophers of law who are interested in applying insights and theories from philosophy of language to their work on the nature of law and legal interpretation. By making this body of recent work available in a single volume, readers will gain both a general overview of the various interactions between language and law, and also detailed analyses of particular areas in which this interaction is manifest. The contributions to this volume are grouped under three main general areas: The first area concerns a critical assessment, in light of recent advances in philosophy of language, of the foundational role of language in understanding the nature of law itself. The second main area concerns a number of ways in which an understanding of language can resolve some of the issues prevalent in legal interpretation, such as the various ways in which semantic content can differ from law's assertive content; the contribution of presuppositions and pragmatic implicatures in understanding what the law conveys; the role of vagueness in legal language, for example. The third general topic concerns the role of language in the context of particular legal doctrines and legal solutions to practical problems, such as the legal definitions of inchoate crimes, the legal definition of torture, or the contractual doctrines concerning default rules. Together, these three key issues cover a wide range of philosophical interests in law that can be elucidated by a better understanding of language and linguistic communication.

《论元结构与汉语构式》为语言学研究方向的专著，主要探讨论元结构的句法实现功能。论元结构是汉语词项的重要信息，也是目前语言研究的重点和难点，目前语言学中的各学术流派都在进行该课题的研究。《论元结构与汉语构式》对论无结构的句法实现、论元与谓词的语义关系、论元与句法语义的接口问题等进行了研究，具体的探讨了致使句、被动句、中动句等特殊构式中的论元实现问题，致使句探讨的有动结式、领属性致使句、等同双宾句、“以”字句，被动句探讨的有“给”字句、“由”字句，中动句探讨的有“V—起来”句、“好V”句等。《论元结构与汉语构式》还对自然语言的词序、格理论、时制、时体等相关理论进行了讨论。

Chapter 1 of this text introduces the notion of dynamic semantics and discusses, in detail, the phenomena that have been used to motivate it, such as "donkey" sentences and adverbs of quantification. The second chapter explores in greater depth the interpretation of indefinites and issues related to presuppositions of uniqueness and the "E-type strategy." In Chapter 3, Chierchia extends the dynamic approach to the domain of syntactic theory, considering a range of empirical problems that includes backwards anaphora, reconstruction effects and weak crossover. The final chapter develops the formal system of dynamic semantics to deal with central issues of definites and presupposition. Chierchia shows that an approach based on a principled enrichment of the mechanisms dealing with meaning is to be preferred, on empirical grounds, over approaches that depend on an enrichment of the syntactic apparatus.

This book investigates the relation between language and logic. Gennaro Chierchia looks at the way syntactic and inferential processes interact in determining polarity sensitive and free choice phenomena. He analyses these as a form of grammaticized scalar implicature and seeks to identify the common core of the polarity system by examining many of its manifestations as well as the choices that determine its diversity. To do so he reassesses the relations between syntax, semantics, and pragmatics and in the process makes startling insights into the relation of syntax to logic. Rudolf Carnap's classic, The Logical Syntax of Language, defines syntax as a lexicon and a set of formation rules and logic as a set of inference rules. Modern generative linguistics maintains a similar modular approach: a combinatorial apparatus is said to generate structures over which semantic and pragmatic relations, such as presupposition and implicature, are defined. This book argues by contrast that many structures typically perceived as syntactically deviant owe their status to their logical properties, in other words to whether they are contradictory or analytically true in specific ways. This alters the Carnapian view. The characterization of grammatical structure requires a more direct role of logical inferences: the functional lexicon of grammar comes, Professor Chierchia shows, with a set of inference rules that crucially and directly determine grammaticality patterns. Logic in Grammar presents the results of the author's decade-long work on pragmatics and scalar implicatures and extends his long-term project on how humans reason and categorize the world. It is a book that will interest linguists, philosophers, and cognitive scientists alike.
