After a five year hiatus the Glaswegian indie rockers are back with a third album We Need Medicine, with the first single Seven Nights Seven Days out in October. Expect plenty more indie anthems with more of a blusey rock edge.

The album was recorded at Konk Studios in London and at The Distillery in Bath. It was co-produced by Lexxx and Brian Eno collaborator Leo Abrahams. The deluxe vinyl version of the album features a bonus 12" containing remixes by Factory Floor and the Field.

Arctic Monkeys will release their fourth album, entitled 'Suck It and See' on Monday 6th June 2011. The album will be released in the US on Tuesday 7th June 2011.
'Suck It And See' features 12 new Arctic Monkeys songs and was produced by James Ford at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles.

MGMT is a psychedelic synthpop group formed in 2002 in Brooklyn, NY. The band consists of multi-instrumentalists Andrew VanWyngarden (vocals, guitar, keyboards) and Ben Goldwasser (vocals, keyboards, synths, drums), both alumni of Wesleyan University.
Electronic Indie Dance Rock began as a thesis project from music majors at Wesleyan University. They used to be known as “the management” with songs about not quite growing up and a lot of nonsense. They are known for playing shows with only an ipod and some mics.
Andrew Vanwyngarden, one of the MGMT figureheads, is currently collaborating with of Montreal’s Kevin Barnes, with plans to release a record in 2008 under the name Blikk Fang. MGMT was on tour with Of Montreal late in 2005 and VanWyngarden has been appearing on stage during some performances on Of Montreal’s summer 06 tour.
MGMT are currently touring the US with Yeasayer.

2012 release, the third album from the Britpopsters. The five piece from London spent two years writing and recording this follow-up to 2009's critically-lauded Wall Of Arms. Having previously written as a collective, Given To The Wild saw the band explore a new approach to songwriting. Avoiding the studio, each member retreated to their South London homes to develop ideas individually. From here the songs evolved into the 13 tracks that would make up Given To The Wild, an epic and beguiling masterpiece of distorted pop, Psychedelia and soulful guitar wig outs. It is the band's most adventurous work to date. Taking sonic inspiration from a disparate collection of musical peers such as The Stone Roses, Kate Bush, Talk Talk and David Bowie, Given To The Wild finds the band exploring new territory. Television and Thin Lizzy-inspired guitar hooks pop out of washed-out soundscapes where programmed loops and phrases are blended against the band backdrop and where they write their most complete pop music yet .

The self-titled debut full studio release from American indie-pop outfit The Drums follows their critically acclaimed EP Summertime. Featured on the BBC's Sound Of 2010 list, the band was formed by childhood friends and former bandmates Jonathan Pierce and Jacob Graham. Their unique surf-pop sound is influenced by an unusual mixture of Factory Records-inspired indie with the pop sensibilities and sunny melodies ofthe Beach Boys. "Best Friend" is the first song Pierce and Graham wrote for The Drums and is the first single to be taken from the album.

Morning Phase is the upcoming twelfth studio album by American musician Beck.[1] The album is scheduled to be released on February 25, 2014, on his new label, Capitol Records. According to a press release, Morning Phase will be a "companion piece" to his 2002 album Sea Change and "harkens back to the stunning harmonies, song craft and staggering emotional impact of that record, while surging forward with infectious optimism". Several of the musicians who recorded parts for Sea Change returned to record for Morning Phase.

一个好友推荐我听Thirteen Senses的首张大碟的时候，兴奋地说比去年英伦新锐团体Keane还动听，于是找来这张唱片。去年因为Keane以钢琴替代吉他的新鲜之举大获成功之后，我也猜想英国必定会有类似的团体跟着发片，果然就来了这队Thirteen Senses。对他们的背景不算了解，网络里也一直没有得到更全面的资讯，去年9月发表首张专辑《The Invitation》的这队英国新团，似乎还没有引起更广泛的关注。
因为之前有朋友拿来与Keane相比，听的时候也就不那么客观。其实Thirteen Senses这样的乐队，若没有Keane在之前那么风光，的确有望进入2004年英国一线。不过有了Keane在商业上的成功，Thirteen Senses的歌曲就显得不那么流行了。他们的音乐在制作上将钢琴做为主要的Groove进程元素，不知道是不是受到Keane的启发，不过象类似的编曲之前也有惨兮兮的Starsailor，只是Thirteen Senses在吉他方面的表现仍旧会让人觉得他们是一支不折不扣的吉他乐队。虽说他们的歌曲不那么流行，但绝对悦耳清新，也因少有过于易记的旋律反而会令人在听觉上不容易疲劳。相比Keane的过耳不忘来，Thirteen Senses更耐听。主唱的歌声会令我想起那队不太有建树的Geneva来，英国腔调在indie乐迷来说，无论唱成什么样都会觉得亲切，更何况Thirteen Senses的歌声那么单纯清澈。音乐中松弛的节奏，悠扬美艳的吉他，绝对不容indie乐迷错过。
女朋友跟我一起听，说每次听的感觉都有所不同，因为Thirteen Senses的歌声并不象keane那般惊艳，反而会令人平均地注意到整体乐队的表现，每次聆听都会被新的细节感动。要说有些作品也不失波澜壮阔的感觉，只是没有表现的那么嚣张，而是更多内敛。
如果说Keane的成功会令人对他们下一张专辑的期待值过高的话，那么Thirteen Senses的这张唱片，只会让你更平静地等待他们的新作问世，是否有突破都不重要，没有大卖的热门歌曲，也就不会招来附庸风雅的弄潮听众。或许这也是一种绝好的结果。
顺便说一句，Thirteen Senses的主唱也是一张娃娃脸，太多与Keane的相似之处，难免我的朋友会那么介绍他们了。他们的不同，自有听者去品味。

What Went Down is the fourth studio album by British rock band Foals set to be released on 28 August 2015 via Transgressive Records in the United Kingdom. According to frontman Yannis Philippakis, it is slated to be their loudest and heaviest record to date.

Tame Impala has announced the title of its new album: Currents will serve as the follow-up to the band’s smash 2012 LP, Lonerism. A release date is still forthcoming.
Currents is preceded by the epic eight-minute single “Let It Happen”. Another album track called “Cause I’m A Man” will premiere tomorrow on Australian radio.

首张专辑由乐团的James Bagshaw在Kettering的家中制作和录音，并由 Claudius Mittendorfer混音。谈到关于新专辑的「DIY元素」，James Bagshaw说：「这有点像是Joe Meek的方法（英国录音制作先驱），他在浴室录制歌曲的人声部分，我看到这种方式时，觉得（录音）根本没有任何限制。如果你知道你想要达到什么效果，总是会有办法解决的。」

In Colour is the debut studio album by British producer and The xx member Jamie xx. It is set to be released on June 1, 2015 on the Young Turks label. A deluxe version of the album, cut on coloured vinyl and featuring two exclusive instrumental tracks, will be made available for a limited time.

Art Angels is the fourth studio album by Canadian recording artist Grimes; it is scheduled to be released digitally on November 6, 2015 by 4AD and physically on December 11, 2015. Its lead single "Flesh without Blood" was released on October 26, 2015 alongside the preorder of the parent record.
