由梁翘柏监制，《天演论》全碟共有12首作品，其中有她以代言人主唱的化妆品最新系列广告歌，另外，值得推介之作全城电台热播歌曲“露西(3,180,000 B.C.-)”(粤语及国语版)。“露西”讲述女主角来到现今的城市，要面对人与人之间的复杂关系，全曲以科学及学术角度出发。至于另一首力谷PLUG主打歌“阿修罗树海”，Candy只花了10分钟写了此歌，并由她的音乐拍档乔靖夫填词，灵感源自佛经中一个猜忌很重又好战的神“阿修罗神”，“树海”的意思是树木处身一个大战场般，为争取阳光与水分而互相斗争。另外，如“一念天堂”及“天外飞仙”等歌曲的歌名亦甚富佛家意味。

Forever Like Red is Cameron Meshell (voice, guitar, piano), Pelle Hillstrom (guitars, effects), Mikkel Heimburger (bass) and Jesper Kristensen (drums). This line up came together in London at the start of 2006 but prior to that Danish born Mikkel and Jesper were in the LA-based Citrus whilst Swedish-born Pelle featured in electropop outfit Modwheelmood. Cameron hails from Shreveport, Louisiana but coincidentally all four had spent time in LA before individually heading over to the UK. Cameron knew of Pelle anyway and called him up, asking if he would like to hear some songs. Pelle agreed and what he heard blew him away, those songs forming the basis of what you are going to know and love as Forever Like Red.

Among My Swan is the third album by the band Mazzy Star. Although Among My Swan did not contain any US Billboard Hot 100 hits like its predecessor, So Tonight That I Might See, this album did garner the band its highest-ranking single on the UK Singles Chart, when "Flowers In December" reached #40 in November 1996. The album's second single, "I've Been Let Down", did not chart in either the United States or the UK.
Among My Swan relied less on the echo effect that was nearly ubiquitous in all tracks on the previous two albums. Hope Sandoval's voice is paired with simple acoustic instrumentation that marks most of the tracks. The guitar and harmonica accompaniment on "I've Been Let Down" is a prime example of this. These tracks are not markedly different in sound or feel from the preceding two albums.
Among My Swan is widely considered to be Mazzy Star's final album; although the band has not officially broken up, they have released no new material since the release of "I've Been Let Down" as a single in 1996, and lead singer Hope Sandoval has gone on to form Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions, which released an album in 2001.

The second U.S. release by the Swedish duo Club 8 is more of the same kind of floaty dream pop that predominated on their self-titled American debut. Only this time, the floaty/dreamy aspects are emphasized, largely to the exclusion of the Saint Etienne-like electronic dance pop that lurked around the edges of the first album. Multi-instrumentalist Johan Angergard doesn't forgo his synths and drum machines entirely ("The Chance I Deserve," right down to its processed vocals, is pure late-'70s Eurodisco), but the songs are mostly based on subtle layers of acoustic guitars, hand percussion, and rubbery, surprisingly melodic electric bass. However, the real appeal of the album comes from Karolina Komstedt's pillow-soft, slightly accented vocals, which have the kitschy allure of Claudine Longet, only with better enunciation and much less tendency to go off-key. (As on the debut, the two songs sung by Angergard are the weakest on the album.) The songs are melodic, sweet, melancholy -- the duo ended their romantic relationship during the writing of the album -- and just this side of twee. Club 8 do the warm'n'fuzzy indie pop thing as well as anybody.

The gorgeous results find Beam and producer Brian Deck deftly venturing into dub, blues, and West African music, among other styles.
