Formed in 2005, Grayceon is an atypical three-piece from San Francisco comprised of electric cello, guitar, drums, and double-vocals. Pulling together an extremely diverse range of musical influences and writing styles, Grayceon defies the boundaries of the metal/rock/progressive genres and builds a wall of sound so thick that it's a shock to know there are only three members. "This Grand Show" is the band's second full-length offering, comprised of dark, melodic, doom driven passages that will appeal to fans of the neo classical post-rock, metal, indie, and experimental scenes. Grayceon features Jackie Perez Gratz (Amber Asylum, Giant Squid) on electric cello and vocals, Max Doyle (Walken) on guitar and vocals, and Zack Farwell (Walken) on drums. Jackie also has performed on various albums by artists such as Asunder, Ludicra, Matmos, Neurosis, Two Gallants, and Today is the Day.

For dying in time, port-royal have expanded their sound to encompass the more electronically skewed perspectives of synth-pop and even techno while still holding steadfast to their roots and original core sound that has always laid somewhere between shoegaze and emotively soaring ambient. As the title may suggest there is an undercurrent of aching melancholy to the album, as if the band are expressing the feelings they have for the temporality of life's situations and feelings.

Further confounding the frontier between electronica and post-rock, French Teen Idol weaves a fabric of intricate piano figures, impassioned sequences and intriguing samples. Meticulous harmonies and a fine sense of dynamics pervade this self-titled album.

The Half Open Sky Gives Us Hope is the creation of one man and his computer in his South East London flat.
Taking influence from many genres of music, the tracks, full of lilting strings and powerful percussion sound like the soundtrack to an as yet unwritten film.

Hammock returns with Everything and Nothing, the Nashville duo’s first full-length album since 2013’s critically-acclaimed Oblivion Hymns. With Everything and Nothing, Hammock has entered oblivion – a place of personal struggle, doubt, and change – and come out the other side; hopeful. The experience is meticulously woven into each song, shared with listeners through intricate melodies, compelling beats, and solemn vocals. In some ways, Everything and Nothing is the spiritual successor to the band’s 2006 breakout album Raising Your Voice… Trying to Stop an Echo. It recalls the same mastery of sound and storytelling, destined to spark every listener’s imagination.

Mogwai release their stunning soundtrack to the documentary by prolific director, Mark Cousins; Atomic: Living In Dread and Promise which was aired on BBC Four last summer. The soundtrack has been especially re-recorded for release at the band's Castle Of Doom Studios in Glasgow. Guest appearances on the album come from occasional band member Luke Sutherland, Sophie and former The God Machine's Robin Proper-Sheppard and Glasgow composer Robert Newth. Artwork includes images from the film and comes in the form of CD, double gatefold heavy pressed vinyl with download code and digital download. As with their soundtrack to the Zidane documentary, the band will be performing this soundtrack live at dates across the world throughout 2016.

“Ceremonies“ is once again an expedition through the landscape of sound that EF conjures up with great efficacy. Their love of melody and harmony alive, carried by heavy rythms, only to be dispersed into a sonic aurora borealis; with improved vocal and orchestral arrangements including more strings, horns, piano and even the use of synthesizers. And, once again given the carefully sculpted mix production by Magnus Lindberg (Cult Of Luna).
